TRADING INFORMATION
VARIETY OF STALLHOLDERS
We are looking for more traders to fill empty niches - honey and bee products, goat's milk and goat's milk products, and gourmet foods are all stalls that we are actively seeking. For current updates on who we are looking for go to our LATEST NEWS page.
Not all stallholders are able to come each week, so please do contact us if even if we already list someone offering the same produce as you. We are also exploring the idea of welcoming local craftspeople - felting, genuine hand-crafted soap and local artists have all been mentioned.
CO-OPERATIVE ENDEAVOUR
If you are interested in trading at the market, please contact our chairperson, Shelley for a chat. The market is run as a co-operative endeavour, with all traders taking responsibility for decisions about who is accepted and how it is run. Application forms are downloadable or you can fill in the online form. We advise filling one in the first instance and returning it so that one of us can contact you.
Whole Pitches (3m x3m) cost of £25 per session. This is payable on the first Friday of the month, for the whole month, in advance. It includes the provision of a stand (but not the table) and help unloading and loading at the beginning and end of the market. Half stalls (1.5m x 3m)are sometimes available at a cost of £15, but this is not guaranteed and depends on availability and electric.
INSURANCE
Traders must hold both product liability and public liability insurance and come from within thirty miles of Minehead.
Alcohol must have personal licence we hold a licence to cover the sale of alcohol at the market.
