WHAT YOU WILL FIND

You'll find everything you need for a week's food shopping and more. The bonus being it's all fresh, it's from the local area and sold by the people who produce it.

The market is well attended by local producers who come either weekly or fortnightly and sell a wide selection of local produce, including:

• bread, cakes, savouries, gluten free cakes

• fish (salt and fresh water), lamb, pork, beef, venison

• chicken, eggs, milk, cheese, butter

• vegetables, strawberries, flowers, plants, herbs

• chutney, jellies, jams

• apple juice, cider

• chocolate

• tea and coffee

Most of our producers can take regular or special orders from customers each week. Please contact individual producers before Wednesday of each week to allow them time to plan ahead. 

PARKING

Ample long-term parking can be found within a ten minute walk of the market in the town car park. Free parking is also available short-term on-road just around the corner outside the library on Bancks Street.
